Sounds good to me.

I don't know if it is enough for an official meeting, but I would be
very glad :) I'm sure it would help me to give some boost to this
first
part of understanding udig internals.
Time (wednesday 10PST) and place (irc) would be good for me.
This week I could place some ideas and doubts about the creation of a
new catalog service for the GRASS workspace wrapping. I think it is a
crucial point.
Could that be ok for you?

There hasn't been a need for an official uDig meeting. Do you
want to
start one? Is the same time good for you? 10:00 PST wednesday?

Thanks for the comments, Jesse and Simone, I put them on the wiki.
I agree with Simone that the outlook could be chosen better, but
for now
it was just to have some resume of what was discusse din IRC.
As I'm digging through the docs and understanding how things will
work
out to be, that wiki space should slowly evolve to the real
migration
path. So things are very temporary for now.
Regarding to the questions on the main page, I wrote them there
because
I didn't know where to discuss them best. I feel these are things
that
rifk to just fill up the mailinglist for now, so I guess IRC
would be
better (is there an official UDig meeting? I mean like geotools and
geoserver, of which i found a google calendar).
Also it is ok for me if you edit the wiki pages.

I'm looking over the web page right now. So far this is what
I've found
that is not correct:
http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/JGRASS/glossary:
- The information about projections seems to backwards you have
uDig
listed as using proj.
- the Model/Application->Operation row is not very clear. I
think I
understand it but others probably won't
http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/JGRASS/licensing
- As we discussed on another email. It looks like we can ship
uDig with
Grass it is more the SDK that is impacted by the licensing issues.
http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/JGRASS/raster
- Looks like you got most of the points on topic, well done.
- With regards to filter, it did not seem like a good solution
since it
will be obsolete once the SelectionService comes along.
http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/JGRASS/mainengine
Looks good.
http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/JGRASS/datamodel
- I don't know VISAD but since uDig is designed to integrate
multiple
technologies it seems likely that you could use VISAD for your 3D
processing
http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/JGRASS/
grasscompatibility
- Also good.
For the main page, How do you want me to answer your questions?

I finished to set up the first draft of what was discussed in
the IRC
meeting. Could the main involved persons please review that
quickly and
check if we understood each other? (Jesse, Jody, Simone)

Please let me know your thoughts,
I will then have to find a starting point.
