Re: [udig-devel] Map listener
|
Let me know if I have events for all the events you are interested in.
I could have forgotten something considering how quickly I put it together.

Thanks for your help guys. I have only just come up for air, but I did
manage to set up a render listener at the 12th hour by casting the
IMap object to a Map object. Then I was able to access the
RenderExecutor and add a listener in there. I think I will use Jesse's
new listeners though, as I would prefer to stick to an interface.
Jody, I will also go through the documentation you pointed me at. I
was in the process of implementing the render listener by the time you
were able to respond. I guess that's the problem with working in the
weekend.
Thanks again.

I've sat down and added Map and ViewportListeners now. Sorry for
being so tardy but they should work now so it is easier to add
listeners to maps.

Hi all.
I can't seem to find how to register a listener that notifies me of
a change to the map state, ie zoom, pan, resize. I am rendering a
point on the map at the moment, but whenever I alter the map in some
way it stays in the same location. I want to be able to make it move
with the world coordinates of the map.
I've been looking at the edit tools to see if I can figure out how
they do it, but it's a bit above my level of understanding in
there... :(
Can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction... I'm going
nuts. Too many hours + release tomorrow = STRESS!
Cheers,
Mark
