Jessie,

Those points do have data attached to them.  "ID"; it has values
11,12,13,14,15.  If you open the DBF in excel or something you'll see
them there.  Perhaps there's a bug with the shapefile dbf reader?

I created it in JUMP and it works fine there.

What happens when you open it in ArcView?
