A quick release announcement here:

There are a few more download options then usual (as we come to terms 
with the Eclipse 3.1. M6 release process).

Windows:

To use the zip files simply extract and run. You can choose to download 
a zip file with a jre (or make use of your own JRE as long as it is 
extended with JAI, ImageIO, and SOAP).

This release contains a German language translation (thanks Mattias), 
rendering speed improvements (thanks Jesse), and an updated Users Guide 
from udig.refractions.net (thanks everyone).
