Hi,
We usually try to avoid mainteance releases and parallel development
streams which are exhausting to maintain.
But we're free to release any time. I suggest we consider a 1.7.0 ASAP
if issues in 1.6.0 are considered as crotical and are fixed in
1.7.0-SNAPSHOT. Is it the case for this issue? Did you verify recent
snapshot would be good to release for your case?
If yes to both and no further objection is raised,then let's release
1.7.0 next week.
