Side issue, Andy, you might want to
follow or "chime in" on this Orbit bug ...

where there has been a request to "change
the name" of objectweb.asm bundle id. 
I don't think we will ... just wanted
to make you aware.

Hi,

Been a while since I've done this but I think this is the process.

I'd like to release an AspectJ 1.8.0
(now that Java8 is out) and am seeking approval for a release review.

AspectJ 1.8 is based on the recent ECJ
for Java8 that is available as a patch on Eclipse 4.3.2.

I've attached the review materials and
my iplog is here:

The major iplog change is that we now
include asm 5.0.1 since we need that for working with Java8 bytecode.

Hope that is all in order. If not, please let me know!
