Hallo Phil, Eric,

the work around proposed by Eric may cause some misunderstandings
because users of the model will look only at the "Multiplicity" field
when retrieving this information and may not take an additional
stereotype into account.

My general understanding is, that a model should always be able to cover
the real requirements.
For example, in the TMF mTOP model we have multiplicities like "0..2" or
"2..*".
RSM has fixed multiplicities but allow also other definitions.

If I want to specify a mutiplicity value different from one of the
predefined choices, how do I do that in Tigerstripe?

Hi Phil,

Hmmm... Unfortunately, as it stands now, the multiplicities in
Tigerstripe
are fixed.
We have had a few requests for ?custom multiplicities? in the past, but
not
enough I guess to actually implement the change. As you might guess this
would impact a lot of the code.

In some cases, others have been able to get away by further specifying a
?fixed multiplicity? though attributes of a stereotype, and use that in
the
plugin as a work around.

Let me know this sounds reasonable to you, or if we need to revisit the
?fixed multiplicities? in the near future.
