Torkild, sorry for a noob question... when you say ...following the procedure for installing a developer environment for TeXlipse, that wasn't my intention. I don't have perfect recollection b/c I was relying on info that I've seen before. I knew that TeXlipse moved to be packaged w/ Eclipse and my understanding is that I no longer needed to go to the marketplace...

From the marketplace I searched for TeXclipse,
I joined the TeXlipse dev community simply to email you guys. I cannot knowledgeably contribute.
