Correct.

How Eclipse projects choose to publish bits on Maven Central (and other methods of distribution) is between the project, Maven Central, and the community. As a general rule, I discourage pushing nightly or integration builds (or even milestone builds) to Maven Central, but the EDP has no jurisdiction.

FWIW, there's nothing in the EDP that prevents somebody from pulling master, building, and pushing the results to Maven Central. I'm not sure if this would be desirable by the various parties involved, but it is possible.

We are already publishing JGit releases to Maven Central, but I am not sure if it's ok

to also publish milestone builds there.
