Greetings follow Technology PMC members.

As a matter of practice, I would like to suggest that we encourage all contributions made through CQs to conform to Eclipse naming standards before we +1 them. That is, all bundleIds, package names, etc. should have the form org.eclipse.<project_name>.*. This is only for contributions, package names for third-party libraries should generally not be modified (though this is sometimes done with reasonable justification).

We can, of course, allow exceptions if there is some reasonable justification.

Any thoughts about this?

I think this is fair for contributions.

Cheers,
