You can move the waiting position (also called "internal junction") by setting a customValue for the 'contPos' attribute of the left-turn connection (https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Netedit/neteditUsageExamples.html#setting_connection_attributes). If you set it to 0 the cars will never wait within the intersection (but a somewhat higher values is also fine just as long as they don't block cross traffic).

When I ran the simulation, due to the left-turn vehicles, the straight-going vehicles couldn’t go through the intersection. I want to avoid this situation. What could I do to make V2 and the following vehicles wait at the stop-line while V1 queuing at the end of edge?
