Isn't that what is being done in line 278 of the code (runner_1b_3_H2_Shuttle_Bus.py)?
In this line of the code, if the currentlane id and current stopids are equal to one another for vehicles 5 and 6, then the follower vehicle's stop data is passed into the ExtendCurrentStop function which extends the follower vehicle's duration at the desired bus stop. I was under the impression that the code was passing in the follower's stop data and adjusting headways that way.

Hi Ifezue,
according to the event-log both vehicles 5 and 6 are waiting for
headway,
time 21569s vehicle 5 waits at busStop_DeltaLoop26_1_5 for 100
sec (headway)
time 21570s vehicle 6 waits at busStop_DeltaLoop26_1_5 for 100 sec
(headway)
time 21570s vehicle 5 waits at busStop_DeltaLoop26_1_5 for 100 sec
(headway)
time 21571s vehicle 6 waits at busStop_DeltaLoop26_1_5 for 100 sec
(headway)
time 21571s vehicle 5 waits at busStop_DeltaLoop26_1_5 for 100 sec
(headway)
time 21572s vehicle 6 waits at busStop_DeltaLoop26_1_5 for 100 sec
(headway)
in maintainHeadway you should exclude this special situation:
both buses are at the same busStop and waits for each other.
Only the second one should wait

Okay. I have attached the stop and event files for the
simulation to this email. Also, the version of SUMO that I am
using, just for your information, is SUMO
v1_11_0+0113-90819c44001.
Thank you

Hi Ifezue,
I have tried also seed 1, but I see no jam.
Can you send me the stop and event file fpr your
simualtion run with the traffic jam?

I am using seed 1, but I don't think I am
using the latest development version of SUMO though.
Could that be the issue for why its
jamming on my end. Also, I usually run it in sumo gui
to make sure the simulation isn't visually acting in
the wrong manner.
Thank you

Hi Ifezue,
which value of seed are you using?
With the latest development version I
cannot reproduce the jam.

Hello Everyone
I am currently in the middle of
simulating a specific scenario, but
for some reason the lead Green bus in
the image below keeps staying at the
current bus stop at around the 22400
sec mark of the simulation. Is there
any reason why this may be occurring?
I wasn't having this issue when I
simulated previous scenarios with
larger buses. Why would this
be occurring with smaller sized buses?
I have attached my files for this
scenario to this email for reference.
