Re: [sumo-user] TraCI is Closes Connection when Emission Class and Electric Parameters used Simultaneously

Tracking conventional fuel consumption with the battery device is supported: https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Models/Electric.html#tracking_fuel_consumption_for_non-electrical_vehicles
Please add sumo option --log log.txt and check for reported errors in log.txt after the run.

Hello Everyone

I was working with TraCI and I noticed that every time I ran my Python script from the command line I would automatically get a Fatal Error message saying that SUMO connection was closed. I looked into the issue and noticed that TraCI automatically closes the simulation if I have electric battery device parameters and an emissions class set up at the same time in my .rou.xml file. Is this true? Or is there a way of setting up both the battery device parameters and the emission class in the vType definition for when you want to model a vehicle that doesn't have an electric powertrain?

Thank you
Ifezue
