Re: [sumo-user] Questions about SSM device

1. This can only be answered by looking at individual conflicts that were classified differently. Since both classifications are (by necessity) based on thresholds, small differences in computation can have a large impact on results.
2. SSM device classifies conflicts by road topology: https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Simulation/Output/SSM_Device.html#conflict_types

Hello everyone,
I have two questions about the SSM device.
1. What is the difference between SSAM software and SSM device. Because I run a simulation and put TTC = 1.5 and PET = 5 but I got different results. For example, SSAM showed 600 conflicts but the SSM device showed 800 conflicts
2. How SSM devices classify conflict types without considering the angle. Because I did not see any information about the angle in (https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Simulation/Output/SSM_Device.html).
For example, SSAM software gives the user this opportunity to choose the angle and its classification is based on the angle of vehicles.
