Hi Michael,
you can use Sumolib to transform the geo coordinates to the lane position of your sumo network. Both attributes are needed for the induction loops definition. See: https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Tools/Sumolib.html#coordinate_transformations

Hi,
I have a shapefile in a projected coordinate system containing the locations of induction loops for my road network. Is there some tool in the SUMO toolbox which can help me process this information to use in my simulation?
So far I have not found anything suitable.
