Here is a previous answer from Jakob on this subject:
“The behavior of sigma is carFollowModel dependent. In the default Krauss-model it applies uniform randomDeceleration from [0, sigma * min(accel, currentSpeed)]
to the speed that would otherwise be chosen due to car-following or junction-approach. Note, that there is a strong interaction with the simulation step-length parameter.

I was wondering how Sigma affects the vehicle speed.
The description says 'the driver imperfection'. Does this refer to the speed variation from the desired speed?
Does it act as another multiplier to the speed? If so, how does it interact with other speed parameters (SpeedFactor, speedDev, etc.)?
