[sumo-user] Expand OSM Network

Hi everyone,

is there an easy way to expand/add to an existing sumo-network (created via
osm import with netconvert) using the osm import with netconvert without
losing any changes/tweaks made in netedit to the already existing .net.xml
file?

Basically I have created a network of a city from osm data and worked on it
for some time. Now I need to add a few surrounding villages and expand the
network. How can I do this without losing any work I have put in to the
original network?
