Re: [sumo-user] Problems about installing SUMO on Linux from sources

Hi harald,

When I click the "sumo" or "sumo-GUI" under the bin folder, it says "There
is no application installed for 'shared library' files. Do you want to
search for an application to open this file?" And I'm sure the fox has been
installed on my system.

(output of 'sudo apt list --installed')
...
libfox-1.6-0/focal,now 1.6.57-1build1 amd64 [installed,automatic]
libfox-1.6-dev/focal,now 1.6.57-1build1 amd64 [installed]
...

I have no clue what other application SUMO may need.

Besides, the GDAL, Proj, and Xerces-C, any package mentioned in
https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Installing/Linux_Build_Libraries.html
has been installed.

libgdal-dev/focal,now 3.0.4+dfsg-1build3 amd64 [installed]
libgdal26/focal,now 3.0.4+dfsg-1build3 amd64 [installed,automatic]
libproj-dev/focal,now 6.3.1-1 amd64 [installed]
libproj15/focal,now 6.3.1-1 amd64 [installed,automatic]
libxerces-c-dev/focal,now 3.2.2+debian-1build3 amd64 [installed]
libxerces-c3.2/focal,now 3.2.2+debian-1build3 amd64 [installed,automatic]

Yours,
John
