The defaults are for vehicle classes (vehicles that have dedicated infrastructure).

To model cargo bikes in SUMO you should be fine by combining vClass="bicycle", adding a battery device (https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Models/Electric.html) and setting the appropriate length. See https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Definition_of_Vehicles,_Vehicle_Types,_and_Routes.html#vehicle_types

I was wondering if there is a way of adding E-cargo bikes as a vehicle type into SUMO. I realise that the is not included on the vehicle type Parameter Defaults, so I am looking for recommendations for those who have done something similar before.
