Hi,
please recheck whether your changes to the environment variables point
to
the correct directories. And yes you should remove entries for the old
sumo. Sometimes it is even necessary to reboot the
machine before those changes take effect. Google results for the error
message also suggest that there might be a problem with the driver for
your graphics card and you should try to update or reinstall this one.

Hello,
I uninstalled my old SUMO versions and downloaded the latest version
(1.6.0). I downloaded the msi installer and installed on my windows
pc.
I added the sumo folder directory to the pathway and SUMO HOME.
However, when I run my scenario that I developed on the older version
(I simply copied the files and pasted on the new SUMO folder), I get
this error message.
"LoadLibrary failed with error 87: The parameter is incorrect."
I'm also having a trouble with running the examples in the SUMO folder.
The warning says "Warning: Cannot read local schema ... ".
Do I need to delete all the old entries in the pathway and SUMO HOME
directory?
