[sumo-user] How to customize detector length for time-loss based tls

Hi,

I’m working on a simulation, where the traffic lights are programmed according to SCOOT. I have managed to set up the appropriate programs and basic parameters for “time loss” based TL control as it was written in https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Simulation/Traffic_Lights.html#based_on_time_loss, but I could not customize the detector distance as it is in reality.

In the real area the control measurements are made with induction loops, and the distance to the stop position differs at each direction. In some cases there are consecutive TL stop positions because of complex junction design, and the distance is calculated from the last in row, so the given default distance results a limited detection area.

In case of “time gap” based configuration it is possible to define custom detectors. Is it possible to use this at my case? Or it needs some sort of implementation?

Best regards / Üdvözlettel!
