Re: [sumo-user] bus system: until-time and intermodal routing

Hello,
defining a schedule with the 'until' attribute is a requirement for taking part in public transport routing:

Dear SUMO-users,

I have a questions regarding the „until“-attribute of bus line specifications.

I am running a scenario with a randomly generated network. The demand is generated as random person trips of which some are assigned to cars, and others to buses and walking.

I understand that a bus departs at a bus stops at the max(current time + dwell time, until). That means I do not necessarily need to specify the until-attribute for the buses to run (if I got this correctly). However, I noticed that no person is riding on a bus if I do not specify the until-attribute.

Does this mean that persons need the until-value for calculating intermodal routing costs?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best,

Gabriel
