You have missing references to the libtiff library.

Please install the libtiff5 package and try again to run make (I think libtiff5 has also the interface for libtiff4).

The errors with cmake can be ignored in my view, they are due to optional components like libopensceengraph etc.

By the way: you are using a pretty old ubuntu, the current LTS version is 18.04 and will be soon 20.04
