[sumo-user] Change right of way on a highway

Hello Everyone!

I'm working with SUMO and VSimRTI at the moment and try to implement a scenario on a highway. 

In the map I'm using there is a country road merging with the highway. Problem is, that the cars from the country road don't merge, but stop to let the cars already driving on the highway pass, even though there is an acceleration lane for them. I will attach a photo of the situation. 

How can I change the right of way for those vehicles? I still want them to give the right of way, but instead of stopping merge in a reasonable manner.
