Re: [sumo-user] Put real-world image of intersection from google maps as a background in SUMO

You can add background images using the 'Background' tab in the visualization settings dialog.
The background definition can also be saved to/loaded from a gui settings file.
If the file is a geo-tiff and the network file has a geo-reference, the image will be positioned automatically.
If you take raster screenshots (jpg, png, bmp) the background image will show up.
It doesn't work for vector screenshots (ps, pdf).

Jakob

Hi,

is there a way to put an satallite image of a real intersection from
google maps as a background in sumo? Will this image then also show in
the screenshots I take with the sumo-gui?

Best regards
