 Thank you for the prompt respose.
 I tried out your solution.
py -2 /c/Program\ Files\
\(x86\)/Eclipse/Sumo/tools/xml/xml2protobuf.py in-test.con.xml -x
xsd/connections_file.xsd -o output

I get this error:
