[sumo-user] Knowledge of a vehicle about its surrounding traffic

Hello,

I am wondering about what details a vehicle in SUMO simulation has about its surroundings when driving.

As a starting point, each car keeps track of its following distance with its leading vehicle. Similarly, do vehicle know about the position of any other vehicles around them (their follower, their neighbors).

Please let me know. Any help would be appreciated.
