Thank you for reporting.
There was an issue with the "import foreign" menu option that has been fixed in the latest development version (https://github.com/eclipse/sumo/issues/4634).
As a workaround you can either load a netconvert configuration file in netedit or set the import options on the commandline when starting netedit.

  1. The attached file gives the following error when importing with NetEdit. Error: No option with the name 'tag' exists.
  2. The same file is imported with Netconverter with no problem.


Please advise how to import with NetEdit.
