Re: [sumo-user] netgenerate difference between person and pedestrian trips

Yes. Though you still need to specify the allowed transport modes for persontrips or they will still just walk. See http://sumo.dlr.de/wiki/Tools/Trip#Generating_different_modes_of_traffic

Hey everyone,

I was looking at the randomTrips.py help, and noticed there is a parameter --pedestrians and --persontrips. What is the the difference between this 2?

Is it that a person may walk, ride or drive? and pedestrians are persons that only walk?

Best regards,
José
