Hello,

i tested running
sumo-gui -n こんにちは世界/こんにちは世界.xml -r こんにちは世界/debug.rou.xml

and it was working on linux (ubuntu 16.04)

Maybe this could be a solution for you.

I want to use sumo in japanese enviroment. Like directory path contains japanese.

But for now, the the directory which contains japanese doesn,t support in sumo
