Hi,
I could not reproduce it with a grid scenario and 1500 detectors writing to a single file using 8 threads. Can you share your scenario (send directly to me or attach to the ticket)?

after splitting up the iIL_detector output into separate files (1 for
each detector) again:
* python3 shell, 4 threads: all fine
