Hi Felipe,
First of all I would
like to say that all user-related topics are discussed in the newsgroup http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/newsgroup.php
as it usual in Eclipse community. We have 441 posts there including today’s
posts, so it’s a pretty active source of information. And I should say
that after migrating to eclipse.org our community grow rapidly – on this
year we counted 1 Million of downloads and got a lot of positive feedback on Eclipse
conferences.
Regarding installation
issue – you are right, installation is problematic on Eclipse 3.4 (you
tried this version, right?). They can be explained by two facts: installation
infrastructure in Eclipse 3.4 is very buggy – we reported a lot of
requests about it; due to licensing limitations Subversive consists of two
separate update sites and this cause problems for Eclipse installation
infrastructure.
There were special
threads in newsgroups regarding installation issues – I recommend you to
take a look.
Best regards,
Igor Vinnykov

Subversive 0.7
Since there's no "Users"
list mentioned in the Eclipse Incubation site, I'm not sure where to address
this type of discussion. Please advise if not in this list.
The Subversive community never
seemed to be very active before the migration to Eclipse Incubation, but there
was at least some movement. I've been registered to the lists for a long time,
and it has been months since the last message was exchanged.
We recently underwent a migration to
Eclipse Ganymede and we wanted to keep Subversive, but it just didn't work.
Lots of errors and exceptions. We tried to install Eclipse from scratch, then
Subversive, following the instructions on the site. It never worked.
We finally had to get back to Subclipse
which just lacks a lot of functionalities we were so happy about in Subversive.
So I'm writting this message in hope
that there is still some contact to your user base, but that I'm just not aware
of, and maybe we can work together to try to win back my team.
