Yes, but I don't think it will fix the issue, because R is only used to 
read the help files (no difference between update and rebuild).

To identify the source of the error, please search for a file named 
hs_err_pid* created by the Java VM at the time of the crash.

Please also look into the Eclipse log (e.g. using the Eclipse view "Error 
Log") if there is a log entry related to the issue.
