While I appreciate the thought, I honestly don't think I am the
best candidate to be co-lead for this project. I think Jeyvison
might be. The issue is that I am already lead for Cargo Tracker
and that's a handful. Also, I plan to shift my focus to the
Examples project in the Fall once hopefully major work for the
starter is squared away.

Although I'm not a committer (yet), I agree with Reza. When I look at the committer list at https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/ee4j.starter/who, it's clear that some committers have been inactive for a long time and probably don't even plan to be active anymore.
The project leads are Ivar and Sebastian. While Ivar is reasonably active and helping with the legal and bureaucracy stuff, I haven't seen any activity from Sebastian in a very long time. On the other hand, Reza is putting a lot of effort into coordinating the effort on the Starter project. So I suggest that Reza replaces Sebastian as a project lead.
Sebastian hasn't even committed any code. Rudy also hasn't committed any code. They should express if they want to keep being committers on the Starter project.
