Re: [soc-dev] GSOC project idea for GEF: Record figures and HTML-like labels in DOT for Zest
|
Hi Mayur!
Great, I'm happy to hear that you're interested in this project.
Since you write that you're not so experienced with Java and related
frameworks, I'd suggest you check out the technology involved in this
project (SWT, Xtext, Graphviz DOT) and see how it works for you.
Also, there's so 'Sir' in open source :-)
To avoid any misunderstanding: if there are other students interested in
this idea, get in touch - as it says on the ideas page: 'It is ok to
have several students interested in one idea.'
Cheers,
Fabian

Hello Fabian Sir,
As per main aim of GSoC, interest in org is more important than
Rockstar programming.
I am using eclipse more than 3 years and played it on various
platforms.
but I am not geek in neither Java nor in its frameworks; always try
to learn
new things. I am able to give 56 hrs/week to the GSoC schedule.
I am ready to try my best and improve the community codebase with
my tiny contribution !!
Seeking for guidance,
Thank you !!

Hi all!
I've posted a Google Summer of Code project idea for GEF to the wiki:

If you're a student or you know a student who is interested in a
summer project involving SWT, Xtext, and Graphviz DOT I'd love to
hear from you!
Cheers,
Fabian
