Re: [soa-pmc] Update of http://www.eclipse.org/soa/
|
Hi Oliver,
Thanks for this, I'm forwarding this message to the SOA PMC mailing list, so that other people may react too.
We are aware that our website needs a refresh and we have started a discussion on what to do with the various projects such as the old BPMN one.
Cheers,
Adrian.

Subject: Update of http://www.eclipse.org/soa/
Hi Adrian,
I just commented on https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=364652,
because the BPMN modeler is still listed as SOA project, even though it is archived.
I went to http://www.eclipse.org/soa/ to check whether there is also an "archived.php" page as in the technology project (http://www.eclipse.org/technology/archived.php). However, there is no :)
But what's more important, the entry page seem to have seen the last update some days ago. E.g., "CVS" is still mentioned above in the picture. There is also a link to the "SOA Policy Tools project proposal", which has been withdrawn.
Is there any background information on that? STP Policy Editor is unavailable due to the renaming to SOA Polciy Editor? - Is "WS-Policy"
regarded as dead by the SOA team?
Cheers,
Oliver
