Hi Wayne,
So if for other members of soa-pmc this would ok, il'll move on that
direction.
I'll wait if someone has some point about otherwise i'll move...
BTW i've two other question:
1) I'm not sure if is should open a CQ to move projects from stp svn
repositories
to the eclipse ebpm one...
I think i should not beacuse the code within org.eclipse.stp.im have
already been approved
in past.
2) Even if i'll move code to the org.eclipse.ebpm repositories i still
want to mantain the
eclipse project as they're with the same name and the same packages....
I hope it would not be a problem for the ebpm project having in it's
svn repositories
project calles org.eclipse.stp.im

Any objections?

Hi Wayne,
As you remark in your message, some STP components are still active.
For example the "Intermediate Model project" located at:
svn+ssh://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/stp/org.eclipse.stp.intermediate-model/org.eclipse.stp.model
is still used by eBPM project ( and of course the Spagic project ), and
at the moment we've not yet made a plan to move to SOA Mangrove Project.
So for me it's not a problem to terminate the STP project itself, but
we need to provide a way to mantain the
old codebase.
We need to define which is the best way to do that.
Here's two proposals:
1) Ok to terminate the stp project but still ensure access to the 'old'
svn repositories at least for Intermediate Model
2) Another option ( as i know probably only ebpm is still interested in
stp im ) is to move the existing project to the ebpm
project repository, in that case the old stp intermediate model stuff,
will be mantained by ebpm committers and mantained within ebpm project..
Any thoughs??
Let me know which is way you prefer to proceed.
Best regards

Hey folks. It's time to terminate STP.
I've started a wiki page to capture what needs to be done.
http://wiki.eclipse.org/STP/Termination_Review
It turns out that there are a handful of active projects that are marked
as "components" in the foundation database that we need to sort out what
to do with.
I also noticed that some commits are being registered against some of
these projects; this could be old metadata from the STP project making
bogus claims. Or it could be people still committing against those
projects. Whatever the case, I'd like to resolve it.
Please take a look at the wiki page and help me resolve what needs resolvin'
Please feel free to make edits/additions to the page as you see fit.
I'd really like to at least initiate the review by the end of the month.
We can queue up the action items as part of that review.
Thanks,
Wayne
