Re: [servlet-dev] Intention to release 4.0.2

I have confirmed which files have changed on the EE4J_8 branch since the initial commit and submitted PR #218 to update the license headers for those files.

I still have a bunch of changes I'd like to see in the first release but time is running out. I'll try and submit some PRs but I suspect they won't make it.

Hi,

I started the last staging Jenkins build on 15 October 2018, so that build reflects the last code changes in the EE4J_8 branch.

The 4.0.2 release was staged to https://oss.sonatype.org/service/local/staging/deploy/maven2/jakarta/servlet/jakarta.servlet-api/4.0.2/

For the full build log, see:

For the last commits see:

I'm not near my laptop but doesn't the August 'release' predate the
    groupid fixes?

Regardless I am -1 on proceeding with either the August release or
the current state of EE4J_8 as some license headers have not been
updated when files have been changed.
