Re: [science-pmc] Eclipse TeXlipse status

Hi Jay Jay,
The project hasn't really engaged in the EDP since 2016.
I'm happy if you can step up and help the EMO work through the progress review for the project so it can continue to live on, while being compliant with our processes.
I tried to evaluate their dependencies but I wasn't even able to build the project locally. Here is the ticket I created for the progress review: https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/emo-team/emo/-/issues/380
any pointers you can provide are appreciated.
Kind regards,
Maria Teresa

I'm happy to engage in the review. You said the project isn't functional, but it works for me. Do you have any tickets indicating that it doesn't function?

Dear Science PMC,
it has been a while since we scheduled a progress review for the Eclipse TeXlipse project. However, it seems like there is no possibility from the community to dedicate the necessary resources needed to make this project functional again. Please see:
https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/emo-team/emo/-/issues/380
I kindly ask for your help in this matter, please notice this progress review actually started as a termination review, but did receive some pushback from the community.
Your inputs are appreciated.
Kind regards,
Maria Teresa Delgado
