Re: [science-iwg] Science release, target platform and Orbit version

It also looks like they've done a pretty solid job on the 169 CQs for SmartHome:

https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=&product=iot&component=iot.smarthome&long_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&keywords_type=allwords&keywords=&emailassigned_to1=1&emailtype1=substring&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailcc2=1&emailtype2=substring&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&cmdtype=doit&order=Importance&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=

The IP team has done well by us too. I have certainly appreciated all of their assistance to help us make our release date in October and barring some work with Triquetrum's dependencies we are in good shape.

As he also has a talk at JavaOne, I'm sure, Kai Kreuzer from OpenHAB/SmartHome would also be happy to volunteer or find out how their CQs could be processed faster.

They filed them (again, based on known/accepted licenses) to use JSR 363 0.8 and it still doesn't seem done. While the Final 1.0 version is expected shortly before JavaOne.

There's certainly room for improvement;-)

We will definitely be looking for guinea pigs. But I don't think we are
going to be ready in September for them. We're still working on the
implementation plan.
