Re: [science-iwg] NASA launches open source software - Science WG

Hi Philip and All,

I agree, after all, NASA's Mars rover sim application is one of the prime examples for use of the RCP in Jeff McAffer's RCP bible, innit.

Unfortunately I don't know anyone at NASA...

Best,
Stephan
Zitat von Philip Wenig <philip.wenig@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>:

Hi folks,

I read an interesting post that NASA would like to publish a bunch of projects under an open source license:
http://www.wired.com/2014/04/nasa-guidebook

That would match very well with the scope of our Science WG. Has anybody contact to the decision makers? We definitively should convince them, that the Eclipse Science WG is a good place for NASAs source code :-).

Cheers,
Philip
