Re: [scava-dev] Scava Code of Conduct

Hi Wayne, Philippe,

I'll push these questions a bit further:

* Do we *have to* use the Eclipse CoC? Can't we use the one selected -- which is the contributor covenant [1] one? I don't mind personally, but we'd need to ask the partners about the change.

* So the reporting process is to be at the foundation/forge level, not at the project level? Interesting. Once again I don't mind. Just surprised that we do not have to manage that at our level, since it's "our community" -- so to speak.

Thanks for the answers, anyway. Chers! :-)

Hi Wayne

I’m not sure I understand how we should proceed now.
Should we have a file in our repos pointing to this page?
Should we copy this page into our repo?
Does it mean we don’t need to manage our own list of person in charge of the teh SCAVA code of conduct and we can directly use the email: codeofconduct@xxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:codeofconduct@xxxxxxxxxxx>?

thx for your help

That's a great question. We need to capture this in the documentation.

Use this: https://www.eclipse.org/org/documents/Community_Code_of_Conduct.php

    Dear EMOs,

We are putting in place a code of conduct for Eclipse SCAVA.
We are planning to have 3 individuals to receive any complain.
Should we have an alias to manage these 3 emails and, in this
case, can Eclipse provides such alias or should we list each
email/name separately in the cod of conduct document?

Thanks a lot for your help

    Hiho Philippe,

Thanks for the feedback. How are we supposed to implement that?
    * have the email addresses in the body of the document?
    * have a single alias that routes the request to the 3 individuals?

First option sounds better, just checking...
