Re: [rt-pmc] PMC approval needed for committer vote for Krum Tsvetkov

In general, there is some flexibility in terms of "how much is enough"
when in comes to the nomination criteria. This varies from
project-to-project and tends to be qualitative rather than quantitative.

The nomination criteria should still, however, cite very specific
examples of how and where the nominee has contributed to the project [1].

I know that Krum is worthy of the nomination based on my familiarity
with him and all of the committers who voted in his favour. However, the
rules regarding transparency exist so that the broader community can
participate in the process; non-specific nomination criteria does not
provide enough information for the community to understand the value
that the new committer brings to the project.

AFAICT, there is one patch contributed by Krum that's been applied. At a
minimum, that bug should have been indicated in the nomination criteria.
FWIW, that attachment [2] should probably be marked iplog+ so that it
appears in the project's IP Log.

Thanks,

Wayne
