I see the PR is there, so I'll run it right now.

How does it get promoted to https://download.eclipse.org/jakartaee/restful-ws/3.1/? AIUI that is where TCK's must be downloaded from. Or it could be using the ZIP file is a must because of the license.

Hi,

The 3.1.4 service release TCK was generated and staged at [1]. Please feel free to review the TCK bundle.
This release includes the test exclusions in TCK challenges [2] and [3].

The PR to update the specification page is created and open at [4]. This will need to be merged as final process after copying the bundle to the official location.

The test fix in [5] is now considered for 4.0 release and the corresponding challenge [3] is resolved by excluding the test in [6].

Hello All,

Could we get a release of the 3.1.4 TCK? I'm asking because [1] was an accepted challenge that has been closed. The fix of disabling the test has also been merged [2].

Per the TCK process [3]:

"A consensus that a test produces invalid results will result in the exclusion of that test from certification requirements, and an immediate update and release of an official distribution of the TCK including the new exclude list. The associated challenge issue MUST be closed with an accepted label to indicate it has been resolved."

The only thing missing from this is the release of the TCK.

If this is not possible there is the following in the TCK process document as well:

"The specification project may approve (user) workarounds for an accepted TCK challenge (as an alternative to excluding TCK tests)."

Could excluding the test in the maven-failsafe-plugin be an "approved workaround"?

Slightly OT, buf if we do a new release we might want to consider https://github.com/jakartaee/rest/pull/1164 [4] too. The PR has not been merged, nor the TCK challenge issue closed, but it has been accepted.
