[ptp-user] run configuration "IBM Parallel Environment" && Task affinity
|
Hi,
I am running an application on a remote host that has no batch scheduler
installed. I am using the run configuration "IBM Parallel Environment" and I
was setting "Task affinity" to "core".The job runs OK, but I am getting the
following messages on the console prior to job start.
2:sched_getaffinity: Invalid argument
3:sched_getaffinity: Invalid argument
4:sched_getaffinity: Invalid argument
5:sched_getaffinity: Invalid argument
1:sched_getaffinity: Invalid argument
6:sched_getaffinity: Invalid argument
[ ... one message per MPI rank ... ]
It looks like the run configuration tries to contact LoadL for the affinity
setting, but there is no LoadL installed. Can I safely ignore this message or
does it indicate that there is no affinity setting because of this error ?
