Hi,
with Eclipse Iuno it was legal to
1. scratch the remote copy of the workspace
2. scratch the local .ptp-sync
3. restart Eclipse
4. redo the remote build
Step 4 would redo the initial synchronization.
In Kepler I think I got this working once, but more often than not I get git (checkout) errors that way. Is this something I should expect ?
At least the following recipe always seems to work.
1. stop Eclipse
2. scratch the remote copy of the workspace
3. scratch the local .ptp-sync
4. scratch all .gitignore
5. remove <nature>org.eclipse.ptp.rdt.sync.core.remoteSyncNature</nature>
from .project
6. restart Eclipse
7. redo the "convert to synchronized project wizard"
Is this the "new" way to reset .ptp-sync ?
