John,
thanks for the hint. My apologies, that was just another case of RTFM - Read the fucking manual :-) Now I got my synchronized projects going.
I still have a few observations I noticed with converting projects to synchronized project. Presumably no bugs, but perhaps something for FAQ. I will put them in separate posts.
