Dear Colleagues,
Our next Eclipse Parallel Tools User call will be tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept 28, 2011 at 12PM CDT/1PM CDT, at the following coordinates:
Step 1: Dial-In
U.S. & Canada: 866.740.1260
Access Code: 2444696
Access http://www.readytalk.com, and enter Access Code 2444696.
This is also documented at our monthly call wiki page, at http://wiki.eclipse.org/PTP/PTP_User_Meetings#PTP_Monthly_User_Meetings.
This month, John Eblen and Roland Schulz will show us how to use the new synchronized project capability in conjunction with the team support in CVS, so that one can use Eclipse {CVS,git,SVN, …} support in conjunction with remote (synchronized) projects. This is a feature that has been highly requested, and at long last, in our Eclipse 3.7SR1 (PTP 5.0.2) release from last week, we now have this capability!
We will also go over the new features and bugs fixed in PTP 5.0.2, as well as address any questions/requests that you may have, including going over a workaround for multi-hop SSH.
Upcoming PTP Events:
