Steve,
I think it would be good to track where there are confusing or
inconsistent parts to the interface – eg, the local dialogue box where you
expected remote, I know such places are scattered throughout but we have not done
such a great job of tracking them down – and indicating what the correct
behavior should be. Sometimes too there are some fairly subtle things that one
needs to do to switch the interface from local to remote – noting these
instances would be useful as well…. (sometimes too the interfaces are not “sticky”
– ie, you may think you have switched the focus to be remote, but then
unexpectedly, the focus will change back to local – and you’ll need to do
something to switch back to remote.

I created a sym link from /usr/lpp (where we have it installed) to
/opt/ibmll. This made no difference.

You can edit the LoadLeveler resource manager configuration > by right
clicking on the resource manager in the resource manager view and clicking the

So this is confusing... the path on the second page of the dialog that you
direct me to points to the local machine while my proxy is on the remote. My
local machine is not AIX and does not have libllapi.so.
