[ptp-user] problems with BUILD script from PTP 2.1.2
|
Hi,
when doing a fresh install of eclipse 3.4.2 from the
eclipse-SDK-3.4.2-linux-gtk.tar.gz file and then installing PTP 2.1.2 via the
update site, I get the following error when running sh BUILD in the
org.eclipse.ptp.linux.x86_2.1.2.200905011908 directory:
Building org.eclipse.ptp.proxy_2.1.2.200905011908...
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for a thread-safe mkdir -p... /bin/mkdir -p
checking for gawk... gawk
checking whether make -j2 sets $(MAKE)... yes
checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
configure: error: utils directory not found <---------------------------

I tried this several times and also checked that all PTP components and
dependencies were actually installed.
This did not happen with an install of 3.4.1 + PTP 2.1.1 that is later updated
to 3.4.2 and 2.1.2.
Regards
Christoph
